Eva Longoria rubbishes pregnancy rumours

Eva Longoria Parker has revealed that she is fed up of rumours that she is expecting a baby, branding the speculation "ridiculous".

"I wish people would just chill out," the Desperate Housewives actress told Extra. "You’ll know when it happens.

"It's funny because [bloggers] are like, 'Oh, Eva is wearing baggy clothes'. It's not like I dressed like a hoochie mama before!"

The 33-year-old married NBA basketball star Tony Parker, 26, last year.

"I can’t wait to start a family and I'm so excited about that chapter in our lives, but I'm just not [pregnant] now," she said.

Is Eva Longoria Going to be an Avenger?

While I would love to believe Eva Longoria-Parker is carrying those issues of The Avengers around for her own geeky pleasure, I've never heard of her being the comic book type. According to Flawed Hollywood, she was snapped leaving Marvel Studios, issues and business card in hand. Speculation is rampant that she might be in the running to play Janet Van Dyne, aka Wasp in The Avengers movie. (The 2011 release date fits perfectly with the end of Desperate Housewives.) The only problem with that is that when Jon Favreau revealed the Avengers line-up Marvel was then toying with, Wasp wasn't on it. Have they revised it, having heard geek girls wishing for a superheroine? Or could this be for Edgar Wright's Ant-Man? Or do these comics represent a group of new properties they're looking to develop for a female lead?.

It's a long way from carrying comics to playing a part -- would Longoria make a good Wasp? She certainly has the right haircut. If not, which female Marvel character would you like to see her play?

Hollywood actress Eva Longoria so desperately wanted to be a big star in Hollywood that she posed as a lingerie model during her struggling days. The Desperate Housewives star posed in skimpy undies, a silver whip-style neck tie and PVC boots - sprawled out on an animal print chair - for a raunchy underwear campaign seven years ago, reports The Sun.

The actress, who is a household name today posed for many bikini shoots in her early days. Longoria, who is married to Tony Parker, has come a long way as the star has endorsed many brands and starred in many flicks.

The “Desperate Housewives” hottie and her San Antonio Spur were spotted making their rounds in the City of Lights earlier today, checking out come local boutiques and stopping into Caupcine restaurant to read the menu.

Last night, Eva and Tony were all about mingling with the bigwigs over at the IWC Schaffhausen Party, held at the Park Hyatt Paris Vendome.

They posed for the paparazzi on the red carpet and Tony showed off his new ‘nine’ tattoo on his hand (9 is his jersey number). Eva has the same ink on her neck. How sweet!
